The best dog houses provide protection from the elements. They will keep a dog warm and dry even on the coldest winter night. However, not all houses are a perfect fit for any type of dog.

Dog houses come in many different sizes. Large dog houses are best for large breeds, while small houses are better for small breeds. This is because a dog will feel unsafe in a house that is too large.
