I am having a baby soon and I am worried about how my dog will react to the new addition. What should I do to prepare my canine for the new baby?

There are many things that can be done to prepare a dog for a new baby. First, you may want to bring the dog around other children and see how the canine reacts. Then after the baby is born be sure to have someone bring a piece of clothing or a blanket, which contains the smell of the baby, home to the dog. This will prepare the dog for the baby’s smell.

How do I know what type of food to feed my pet?

Pet food varies greatly according to pet type and breed. For example: not all dogs will eat the same food. Small dogs will require a different type of food than larger dogs. Check with your vet for more information about dog food.


I want to travel with my canine. How do I choose a pet carrier?

Choosing a pet carrier can be a difficult task. It is important to fit your pet appropriately for a carrier. Be sure to bring your dog with you when you purchase a carrier, that way you will be able to tell whether or not the carrier will work for your particular pet and his or her personality.
